Medical Shopping Comparison Engine
Anytime I come across a new engine or niche, I put it out here. Recently I came upon another engine in an arena I have been asked about lately - medical supply comparison shopping.
One such engine is HealthPricer
HealthPricer features over 360,000 products at the time of this posting, and most importantly in my view, has strict standards regarding the sourcing of the products displayed. For example, pharmacies listed must:
- Be a verified pharmacist in good standing
- Provide a verified pharmacy license in good standing
- Prove ownership of the website which is seeking entry into the program
- Provide documentation and contact information to this effect
Continuing the long tail focused writing for today, as engines diversify, content focused engines such as HealthPricer will be the next big trend.

Thanks for recognizing our efforts. We do believe that trust will feature more and more in shoppers’ buying decisions online - particularly for health products. As you mentioned we have created relationships will all our merchants (pharmacies, contact lens, health and beauty) to ensure they comply with the standards shoppers expect from both online and brick and mortar stores.
