Keep it simple!

This is the phrase which rings through my head every time I think about the focus of this site.

Whether it’s a c-level executive or one man show who is reading this information, the intention is to clearly communicate relevant, actionable information about online marketing channels, in a quick and easy to understand format.

Since beginning in E-Commerce in 2002, I have seen a massive evolution. Once it seemed like SEO and banner advertising would be the only game in town. Ah, c’est la vie.

Since first encountering comparison shopping engines and other e-commerce platforms as a retailer, I have had a unique opportunity to communicate with hundreds of merchants and online businesses. Firsthand I see the challenges created from handling product content that must somehow be distributed across many different channels, in many different formats, but yet still keep the product catalog’s integrity and profitability intact.

That’s why this site is here. To share knowledge on how to integrate and maximize these platforms. Occasionally, you will find an interjection of a related topic; perhaps affiliate marketing, SEM or SEO work. All of this builds toward a long term goal of global integration of all marketplaces and businesses, readily accessible to anyone who is searching. If you haven’t yet realized the internet is fueled by the same ingrained urge to connect that drove men to scribble on the walls of ancient caves and cross uncharted oceans, then welcome aboard. This should be an interesting ride.

Also, I have to point out that all comments and writings are strictly my own thoughts. The views expressed are not those of the company I am employed by, nor any affiliated company unless expressly stated. Most important of all, please know I maintain the highest standards in providing ethical, objective and practical information. If I error in some way or you simply disagree, please feel free to contact me or post a comment. After all, the ability to interact is the what the internet has promised all along.
